JBLM Adult First Aid/CPR/AED-Blended Learning
Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) is a controlled access installation. Vehicles entering Joint Base Lewis-McChord are required to have an adult Authorized ID Cardholder in the vehicle or an authorized Visitor Pass.
Geared to support military spouses, partners, and other family members, this course is hosted at the American Red Cross building on JBLM. Basic lay responder course covers a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims 12 years and older. OSHA/workplace compliant. Blended learning course requires completion of the online portion prior to attending the in-person skills session.
