Frequently Asked Questions

Enrollment in any Sound Beats CPR class constitutes agreement with the following cancellation policy. Sound Beats CPR will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a cancellation.

In order to qualify for a refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the start time of a scheduled class. Cancellation must be sent in writing to [email protected] or by text to (206) 920-6026. Once your cancellation is received, a written confirmation will be sent. If your cancellation is received in writing at least 24 hours in advance of the class start time, you will be refunded 100% of your payment. If your cancellation is received less than 24 hours before a class, you will be considered a "No-Show" and will not qualify for a refund.

Will be allowed to join up to 20 minutes after the start of class. After 20 minutes, the participant will be considered a "No Show," and the "No Show" policy will be strictly enforced.

Sound Beats CPR reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue, date, and time of its classes should unforeseen circumstances occur. If the instructor cancels a class for any reason, enrolled participants will be issued a full refund. Sound Beats CPR will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a cancellation.

Due to American Red Cross certification rules, some CPR courses require a minimum number of students in order to proceed. If a class does not have sufficient enrollment 48 hours before the scheduled class time, Sound Beats CPR will contact any enrolled participant(s) to notify them that the class is cancelled, and they will be issued a full refund. If a class fails to meet the minimum number of required students due to "No-Shows" on the day, or other unforeseen circumstances, enrolled participants will be issued a full refund. Sound Beats CPR will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a cancellation.

If the participant would like to change an existing class registration to a future date, a $50 transfer fee will be applied. This fee will be charged to those that were considered a "No-Show", or notified the instructor of their need to cancel within 24 hours prior to the originally scheduled training date. For those that feel their need to reschedule falls outside of the above stated reasons, they may appeal to have the fee waived on a case-by-case basis. The appeal must be in writing and sent to: [email protected].

Once your registration is completed and paid for, Sound Beats CPR will register you in the Red Cross Learning Center to access the online learning materials. You will receive an email with a link to the online materials from the Red Cross (could also be called Salesforce Automation). Because it is an automated email, please check your spam or junk folder. Please reach out via phone or email if you still have not received the automated email from the Red Cross more than 24 hours after registration.

If you are registered for a Blended Learning class format, you must complete the online materials in its entirety prior to the start of your class. Student must provide proof of completion to the instructor upon arrival. If you haven't completed the online materials prior to class, you will not be certified and you will be considered a No Show under Sound Beats CPR refund policy.
